Summer Reading Program

Welcome to Tails & Tales – the 2021 summer reading program.

Every creature has a tale to tell, especially those with tails! Read about your favorite furry friends, watch a creature feature, learn all about a new animal, or immerse yourself in a land of fantastical beasts. Have fun this summer participating in the library’s Summer Reading Program, Tails and Tales.

Here’s how it works:

ACCESS YOUR GAME CARD

Game cards for children (birth-age 11), teens (age 12-17), and adults (age 18 and up) will be available inside the library, at curbside, or on the library’s website. A new card will be available on Mondays each week for each age range. Complete 3 activities at home from several listed on your game card. Activities may include reading, having fun outside, attending online library programs, or exploring library resources. Turn your completed card in at drop boxes inside the library or at curbside and pick up your next card. Children will take home a surprise prize for completing each week’s game card, while teens and adults will receive one entry into the Teen or Adult Grand Prize drawings at the end of summer for each weekly game card they turn in.
