Seminar for Non-Profits Coming to Bealeton library
Area non-profits are invited to a free program at the Bealeton branch library on October 5. The 90-minute program will address different types of corporate giving and how to find potential partners.
The program will be presented by a representative from The Foundation Center, the leading source of information about philanthropy worldwide. The Foundation Center maintains the most comprehensive database on U.S. and global grantmakers and their grants. The Bealeton branch, as one of the Foundation Center’s 450 Funding Information Network locations, provides public access to the Foundation Directory Online Professional database, as well as other resources for non-profits.
The program will include a hands-on 30 minute exercise to help non-profits determine if their organization is ready to seek corporate support.
