Reading Riot: Book Spine Poetry

Posted by annmcd on

Since National Poetry Month was celebrated in April, the Bealeton TAG teens enjoyed a creative writing project at our last meeting of the school year.

Book spine poetry uses book titles to inspire verse. We started the project by touring the new and improved teen space, looking at book titles to see what grabbed us.  Next we arranged and rearranged book titles until we had some very creative poems.

Here are a few of our favorites! Click on the title for a link to the catalog.
