More for Teens

Art & Nature for Teens
Join us for a monthly program presented by Oak Spring Garden Foundation. New topic explored each month.

Summer Reading Program

This annual program provides free programs and activities suitable for all ages, from birth to adult.  Participation promotes life-long learning, helps children retain their reading skills during the summer and motivates people of all ages to read.

Watch for details about the next summer reading program, coming soon!

The Naturalist Is In

Members of the Old Rag Virginia Master Naturalists answer questions about Virginia's flora and fauna.

Teen Volunteers

Each year, the library seeks teen volunteers to assist with the annual summer reading program. Teen volunteers gain valuable work experience, earn service hours, meet graduation requirements or simply fill the need to give back to their community.

Teen volununteer applications for the 2024 summer reading program are currently being accepted. Pick one up at your local Fauquier Public Library location or access it online.
