Mark Your Calendar for These Special Library Events in November

autumn-20clipart-fall19In addition to the regular weekly and monthly programs held at the library, the following special events will be held during November for children and teens.

Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt
November 16 – 23
All library locations – during regular business hours
Children 4+ are invited to stop by for a special Thanksgiving scavenger hunt. Participants will each earn a small prize.

Exchange Students Build Bridges with Teen Advisory Group (TAG)
Tuesday, November 10
Bealeton branch library – 4 p.m.
Meet and greet foreign exchange students who are currently attending local high schools. Students from various countries, including Spain, Brazil, China, will share their culture and the lifestyle of their home country.

Hosted by the Bealeton branch library TAG group and sponsored by United Studies Student Exchange (USSE), this program is aimed at building global bridges of understanding through shared daily living, customs and traditions. All students in 6th grade and above as well as their families or other interested adults are invited to come and learn about hosting an exchange students.
