Join Bob Jacobs, history professor and longtime Fauquier County educator, to learn about a piece of a Cold War puzzle and the lessons that remain germane today.

In a cemetery in Southern Fauquier County stands Paul Embrey’s headstone. Embrey, who disappeared on November 28, 1950, is among 187 Virginians unaccounted for from the Korean War, according to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency. How did this local man find himself in the snowy mountains of Korea and what happened to him?
