Bestselling military historian Patrick K. O’Donnell brings local Civil War history to life with the previously untold story of Lincoln’s Special Forces and their hunt for Mosby’s Rangers and the Confederate Secret Service in his latest book The Unvanquished: The Untold Story of Lincoln's Special Forces, the Manhunt for Mosby's Rangers and the Shadow of War That Forged America's Special Operations.
O'Donnell is author of 13 books and is the recipient of numerous national awards. He served as a combat historian in a Marine rifle platoon during the Battle of Fallujah and is a professional speaker on America’s conflicts, espionage, special operations, and counterinsurgency. O'Donnell provided historical consulting for the award-winning miniseries Band of Brothers.
