Most, if not all, of today’s vehicles come with an infotainment system such as Apple CarPlay or Android Auto–including the capability for navigation, audio, texting, and telephone. However, a recent Consumer Reports owner satisfaction survey showed that only around half of those surveyed were satisfied with their vehicle’s infotainment system.  “Choose an Infotainment System You’ll Love” has information on and ratings for these systems, listed by car manufacturer.

Around 48 million Americans suffer from some degree of hearing loss. This is partially due to the growing number of older Americans, and partially due to the use of headphones and earbuds when listening to music. “Sound Advice About Hearing Loss” includes advice from experts on why you should not delay treatment for hearing loss, as well as ratings for hearing aids.

Also included in this issue:

  • Get rid of ants in your home
  • Healthier trail mixes
  • “The Hidden Risks of Used Cars” on safety defects and open recalls on used cars
  • Ratings for the newest midsized SUVs, small luxury SUVs, and luxury compact cars
