Check out this information in the February issue of Consumer Reports:
Do you spend nights tossing and turning, wishing your mattress and pillow were more comfortable? If you do, check out the “Secrets to a Great Night’s Sleep” article in this issue. The article has tips on what to look for when purchasing a new mattress, and ratings for 74 mattresses–adjustable air, memory foam and innerspring. Information is also included on pillows of all types– down and feather, memory foam, latex foam, polyester and others. For those who rely on over-the-counter sleep aids to get a good night’s sleep, the article discusses whether or not they really are “non-habit-forming.”
Did you know that approximately 64% of Americans wear eyeglasses? If you’re one of them, you know that they can be expensive. For the article “The Joy of Specs,” Consumer Reports surveyed 91,000+ readers and also shopped for glasses, via doctors’ offices, eyewear chains, discount chains and online. Check out the article for their research results and the ratings for readers’ satisfaction with major eyewear retailers.
Are you looking to purchase a large-screen TV (40″ and above)? The article “Best TVs for Your Buck” includes ratings for more than 75 large-screen TVs, from the top-tier models to the budget-priced models. The overall score is based on HD picture quality, Ultra HD performance, viewing angle, sound quality and more.
This issue includes the Consumer Reports Annual Owner Satisfaction Survey. All vehicles are listed by size (subcompact to full-sized pickups), make and model. In addition to the overall score, the vehicles were rated on driving, comfort, value, and styling. How does yours rate?
