An Evening With the Author: Fauquier Community Read @ Rice Theater, Highland School

As the finale to Fauquier Community Read 2019, Lisa Wingate will make a personal appearance where she will read from Before We Were Yours, discuss her work and her process for researching and writing

 Wingate was one of seven recipients of the National Civics Award, presented by Americans for More Civility, a kindness watchdog organization. The award celebrates public figures who work to promote greater kindness and civility in American life.

Author question and answer session and book signing to follow. Books will be available for purchase. The event is free but registration is recommended.
