A recent trip didn’t turn out as Jacob Hall and his mom, Karen planned.  On their way home they realized that Jacob’s wallet was missing—along with over $70.

“We just assumed we would never see it again,” said Karen.

Robin, a flight attendant and good Samaritan, found the wallet on a plane going from Florida to Dulles, VA. With only a Fauquier County library card as a clue to who the owner might be, she contacted the library to see if we could put her in touch with Jacob.

Several emails later, library staff was able to connect the good Samaritan with the Halls; the wallet, library card and $70 were returned
to Jacob.

“The library was so careful to protect Jacob’s privacy but still find a way to enable Robin to be a Christmas angel,” said Karen Hall.

“A tree is known by its fruit; a man by his deeds.  A good deed is never lost; he who sows courtesy reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.”
