Happy Anniversary, Sorcerer’s Stone (6.20.2022)
It has been 25 years since the publication of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and we are celebrating with five magical programs!

- Picture Yourself at Hogwarts: Make use of our props and backgrounds to create fun photo opportunities! Share them with friends and post them to our Facebook page using the hashtag #harrypotterweek.
- A Pinch of Magic: Watch this on-demand baking demonstration to learn about some of the magical foods you can make using The Official Harry Potter Baking Book.
- Horcrux Picture Hunt: Help defeat You Know Who by tracking down seven horcruxes hidden around the library. Pick up an answer sheet at the Youth Services desk, go on a horcrux hunt, and return your completed answer sheet to receive a small prize.
- Prophecy Orb Craft on the Go: Make a
prophecy orb that looks right out of the film Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix! Craft bags will be available at the Youth Services desk while supplies last; no reservation necessary. Only one bag per person, please. - Potterhead Trivia: Test your Harry Potter knowledge in our trivia competition and enter to win a MinaLima illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. One winner will be drawn at random from the complete, correct entries at each library location.
