In the last year, many of us have been using home internet connections more than ever. “Better Internet for Less Money” has tips on how to test your internet speed, improver your WiFi, avoid overpaying for internet service, and much more. Ratings for 25+ internet service providers  are also included.

Allergy sufferers know about the benefits of indoor air filters. However, due to COVID-19, wildfires, etc., the sales of portable home purifiers are rising. “Is Your (Indoor) Air Fit to Breathe?” includes ratings for 25 air purifiers.

Currently the wait for new appliances or parts to fix old ones can be months. So when an appliance such as a refrigerator, dishwasher, washer, or dryer stops working, the big question becomes–should I fix it or replace it? “Fix It or Ditch It?” has a flow chart that will help you answer these questions. The article also has the Consumer Reports third annual Appliance Brand Reliability Rankings for over 25 appliance brands.

Salads are often called the ultimate health food. However, the recent E. coli outbreaks are causing people to be leery of eating healthy greens. “Build a Healthier Salad” includes a list of elements a perfect salad might contain, including dark greens; non-starchy vegetables such as carrots, mushrooms, and radishes; proteins such as eggs, chicken, or whole grains; a crunchy topping; and two tablespoons of your favorite dressing.  Ratings for ranch and raspberry vinaigrette salad dressings are also included.
