If you have a young child, you know the importance of using a safe car seat. “Get Smart About Car Seats” discusses how to use a car seat properly. Also included is information on five types of car seats and ratings for them–infant, convertible, high-back to backless booster, all-in-one, and toddler booster/combination.
Airlines continue to reduce legroom and seat width to accommodate more passengers. A recent airline satisfaction survey completed by 55,000 Consumer Reports members had the lowest scores in seating comfort and legroom. “Secrets to Stress-Free Travel” lists tips to help make your airline travel less stressful, like choosing the right seat, bringing noise-cancelling headphones, creating a comfort kit, and arriving early. The article also includes ratings for carry-on and checked luggage.
Other topics in this issue include:

- How to clean a flat-screen TV
- Drugs to help with sleep
- “Making Cars Safer for Women”
- Safety ratings for SUVs and luxury compact cars
