Things are Getting Wild at the Library
(Warrenton, VA) June 21, 2019 – Fauquier County Public Library presents Wildlife Ambassadors, part of the 2019 summer reading program. This family-friendly event will provide an up close and personal interaction with amazing animals found right in our own back yards.
Based in western Loudoun County, Wildlife Ambassadors is an environmental educational organization that teaches respect for wildlife and the environment. Since its inception in 1996, they have delighted and entertained thousands at schools, libraries, camps, birthday parties and other events, presenting their fantastic knowledge about wildlife. The animals are non-releasable wildlife, unwanted pets and captive-bred educational animals. In addition to spreading the word about conservation and respect for nature, Wildlife Ambassadors provide permanent homes for exotics, farm animals and native non-releasable wildlife.
