Fauquier County Public Library Hosts Author Bobbie Pyron

(Warrenton, VA) September 13, 2017  ̶  Bobbie Pyron, author of five books for children and young adults, will discuss her life and writing at the Warrenton central library on Saturday, September 30, 10:30 – noon.

Pyron’s work includes “Lucky Strike,” a 2017-2018 Virginia Reader’s Choice and Fauquier County Battle of the Books title. “This well-told story of growth, friendship and small-town life hits all the right notes,” according to School Library Journal, a review journal for librarians who work with children and teens.

Pyron lives and writes in Park City Utah. In addition to “Lucky Strike” she has also written “The Ring,” “A Dog’s Way Home” and “The Dogs of Winter.”  Her newest book – “A Pup Called Trouble” will be released in February, 2018. Her books will be available for sale and signing by the author at the event.
